How to Distribute Music to Audiomack from India (2026 Guide)

How to get your song on Audiomack from India: direct upload vs a distributor, file and cover art specs, getting verified and how Audiomack pays artists.

By the SapneDigital team · 23 Oct 2026 · 4 min read
Quick answer: There are two ways to get your music on Audiomack from India. You can upload directly with a free Audiomack creator account, or you can release through a distributor that delivers to Audiomack together with Spotify, JioSaavn, Apple Music and the rest. Direct upload is free but only covers Audiomack, and earning needs separate approval. A distributor puts the same release on 160+ stores at once and collects Audiomack royalties for you.

Audiomack started in the US as a free platform for hip-hop mixtapes and has become a major streaming app in the US, Africa and the Caribbean. More Indian rap, Haryanvi, Punjabi and indie artists are now putting music there, because the app is free for listeners, has strong trending charts and does not hide songs behind a paywall.

Two ways to get your song on Audiomack

Direct upload to AudiomackThrough a distributor (e.g. SapneDigital)
CostFreeDistributor's fee (SapneDigital: one-time, no yearly renewal)
Stores coveredAudiomack onlyAudiomack + Spotify, JioSaavn, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Instagram and 160+ more
Earning from streamsOnly after you qualify for the Audiomack Monetization Program (AMP)Royalties collected by the distributor; no separate AMP enrolment needed
ISRC / UPC codesYou arrange them yourselfGiven free with the release
Payout to IndiaThrough Audiomack's payment provider; options depend on countryBank transfer or UPI from your SapneDigital dashboard

If Audiomack is the only place you want your song, a direct upload is fine. If you want the same track on every major app and one place to see earnings, a distributor saves you from uploading the song ten different times.

Option 1: Upload directly to Audiomack

  1. Download the Audiomack app or open audiomack.com and create a free account.
  2. Switch the account to a creator / artist account and fill in your artist name, photo and bio.
  3. Tap Upload, choose your audio file, add the title, genre and cover art, and publish.
  4. To earn money, apply for the Audiomack Monetization Program once you meet its requirements (at the time of writing: at least two uploads, 25 followers and 1,000 plays, plus a linked Instagram or X account).

The catch: a direct upload exists only on Audiomack. Your listeners on Spotify, JioSaavn or Instagram Reels will not find the song.

Option 2: Release on Audiomack through SapneDigital

  1. Create a free SapneDigital account and complete KYC.
  2. Pick a plan on the pricing page. All plans are a one-time fee with unlimited releases.
  3. Upload your song, cover art and metadata once. Audiomack is included in the store list along with 160+ other stores.
  4. Set a release date at least 7 days ahead so every store, including Audiomack, has time to go live together.
  5. Track streams and royalties store by store in your dashboard and withdraw to your bank account or UPI.

File and cover art requirements

Audiomack, like most stores, rejects releases that do not meet basic specs. Get these right before you upload:

  • Audio: WAV (16-bit, 44.1 kHz) or FLAC. Avoid MP3 for distribution.
  • Cover art: square, at least 3000 × 3000 px, RGB, JPG or PNG. No website links, phone numbers, social handles or "out now" text. See our cover art guide.
  • Metadata: artist name spelled the same way on every release, correct language and genre, and featured artists in the right field. Most rejections come from metadata mistakes.
  • Codes: every track needs an ISRC and every release a UPC. SapneDigital gives both free. Read ISRC vs UPC explained.

How to get verified on Audiomack

Once your song is live, claim your artist profile in the Audiomack app so the release links to you and you get access to stats.

  • Grey check (free): usually needs a profile photo, at least two original uploads and around 25 followers. Review generally takes about a week.
  • Orange check: linked to Audiomack's paid Pro plan for creators.

Use the same artist name and photo you use on Spotify and Instagram. It makes approval smoother and helps listeners trust the profile. For Spotify's blue tick, see how to get verified on Spotify.

How much does Audiomack pay?

Audiomack does not publish a fixed rate per stream. According to its creator FAQ, creators receive about 50% of revenue per stream, and the amount changes month to month depending on ad and subscription revenue and the listener's country. Payments are made on a net-90 basis, which means earnings from January are paid by the end of April.

When you release through SapneDigital, Audiomack sends the royalties to us, and they appear in your dashboard alongside your other stores. You keep 85% to 98% depending on your plan, and you withdraw to bank or UPI. More on how money flows in music royalties in India explained.

Tips to grow on Audiomack

  • Release on a Friday and share your Audiomack link on the same day as your Spotify and Instagram links.
  • Pick the right genre tag. Audiomack's trending charts are split by genre, so a correct tag puts you in front of the right listeners.
  • Upload consistently. Regular singles keep your followers active and help you reach the verification thresholds faster.
  • Engage with comments and reposts. Audiomack is more social than most apps, and activity on your profile helps discovery.
