Account & Verification Policy
Last updated: 29 Jul 2026
This policy covers artist verification and the grounds on which an account may be restricted, suspended or terminated. It works alongside our Terms of Service and Content Policy.
1. Artist verification
Verification confirms that an account genuinely belongs to the artist or their authorised representative. We may verify through your registered email and mobile, your payout/KYC details, and, where needed, official ID or proof of your association with the artist name.
- Verification protects artists from impersonation and helps stores trust your deliveries.
- We may ask for verification before delivering to certain stores, before large payouts, or if a dispute arises.
Note: "verification" here is account verification with SapneDigital. Verified badges or "official artist" status on Spotify, Apple Music and similar are granted by those stores under their own rules; we can guide you but cannot guarantee them.
2. Your responsibilities
- Keep your login secure and your contact and payout details accurate.
- Use one account per artist/entity unless we agree otherwise. Do not create duplicate accounts to bypass a suspension.
- Follow our Content Policy and all store guidelines.
3. Grounds for restriction, suspension or termination
We may restrict features, suspend, or terminate an account where there is:
- Copyright infringement or repeated valid takedown notices;
- Artificial/fake streaming or other manipulation;
- Fraud, impersonation, or false KYC/payout information;
- Chargebacks or payment fraud;
- Abusive, unlawful or harmful conduct, or repeated breaches of these policies.
4. How suspension works
- Where reasonable, we will notify you of the reason and any action needed to restore your account.
- Serious cases (fraud, safety, legal orders, store demands) may be actioned immediately.
- Releases may be taken down and affected royalties withheld during investigation.
5. Effect on royalties
Legitimate royalties already owed to you remain payable, subject to store reporting and after deducting any amounts linked to fraud, infringement or artificial streaming.
6. Appeals & grievances
If you believe an action was taken in error, contact us at support@sapnedigital.com, or escalate through our Grievance Redressal page.
